Seabreeze Tourist Park, Airlie Beach Queensland

Seabreeze Tourist Park

For Airlie Beach accommodation we stayed at the Seabreeze Tourist Park, Cannonvale Qld

This was my first attempt at doing a video of a Caravan Park and now with over 200 videos I’d like to think our videos have improved but this one certainly gives a good overall look at the Seabreeze Tourist Park in Cannonvale.

Accommodation

Seabreeze Tourist Park is directly opposite the ocean waters of the famous Whitsundays and is an easy boardwalk stroll to the Marina and township of Airlie Beach.

There are two pools with the newer one at the back including a good small fun park. There is also another basic pool at the front of the complex.

A great Camp kitchen is onsite with BBQ’s and kitchen facilities provided for all the guests.

We had excellent coverage with Telstra, Vodafone and Optus and there is Free Wifi available also available.

The park is Pet friendly, we had our Golden Retriever MACKS with us. The staff are all very friendly and helpful to book tours and arranging any possible discounts. They also have an area to store your rig while you travel to the islands at a very reasonable cost.

Airlie Beach Region

A Shopping Centre is an easy walk to next door and includes C0les and other range of shops plus the popular Banjo’s Tavern.

Things to do in Airlie Beach and the Whitsundays

During our stay here we were able to really explore the Whitsundays and everything it had to offer. Read here for our recommended Things to do in Airlie Beach and the Whitsundays

Check it our here for full details of Reefsleep, where you sleep under the stars in a Swag on a pontoon out on the majestic Great Barrier Reef.

Book your Reefsleep Experience here>

There’s also lots more to see and do on the drive between Mackay and Airlie Beach/ Whitsundays and you can read all about that too.

Cost to stay was $35 per night for 2 adults plus $10 extra for Matthew. During our stay there was a Stay 7 nights and pay for 6 nights special.

Our stay was April 27th to May 16 2016

Jervis Bay Holiday Park, Jervis Bay NSW

Jervis Bay

The Jervis Bay Holiday Park is just a short 5 minute drive to all the spectacular beaches and National Park walks of the Jervis Bay and Huskisson region.

We loved the good sized sites with plenty of space. The Camp kitchen is excellent with great BBQ’s, plenty of seating, a TV and a drinks machine.

For the kids there’s a Jumping castle and good playground for them to enjoy.

The Pool is perfect and includes a fun slippery side and there’s a heated spa. There’s a good amenities block available and the park backs onto the river if you want to try some fishing or launch a boat.

The Park is pet friendly and we had good Telstra & Vodafone coverage.

If you don’t want to pay the premium prices of the parks backing onto Huskisson Beach this is an excellent option.

Cost to stay at the Jervis Bay Holiday Park is $40 per night. We paid $33 for the night with our National Seniors Card discount.

Our stay was 11-14th February 2019.

Safe travels

Currarong Beachfront Holiday Park, Currarong NSW

Currarong

The Currarong Beachfront Holiday Park is located in Currarong near Jervis Bay in NSW.

The park backs onto a beach where we collected oysters directly from the rocks. It’s a big park with lots of fantastic facilities.

There’s a great camp kitchen and a kids playground guaranteed to provide lots of entertainment.

There is no pool within the park but the beach is just a few minutes walk.

It is pet friendly. We had good Telstra and Vodafone coverage.

This is close to some amazing places including Honeymoon Bay and Gosangs Tunnel. Take the walk past Abraham Bosoms Beach to Gosangs Tunnel and explore the beaches along the walking track.

* The park may now be known as Holiday Haven Currarong online.

Cost to stay is approx $40 per night, we paid $35 with our National Seniors Card discount.

Our stay was Feb 10th 2019

Windang Beach Tourist Park, Windang NSW

Windany Beach Tourist Park

The Windang Beach Tourist Park is a Riverfront and Ocean front Caravan Park located 100kms south of Sydney and just 7mins drive from Shellharbour.

This is a fabulous location with Woolworths and Aldi just 5 mins drive away, two Tackle stores are walking distance from the Caravan Park and there’s great fishing in both the Beach and River. We watched plenty of fish being caught.

There is secure gated entry, a children’s play area, good amenities, a dump point and the staff were super friendly.

Pets however are not available to stay at Windang Beach Tourist Park.

There is no Wifi available and No pool onsite.

We had excellent Telstra and Vodafone coverage.

The only disappointment for us was we only had time to stay two nights, we would have loved to stay much longer.

Cost to stay is $42 per night for a drive through powered site and with our National Seniors Card we were able to get a discount and pay $33.40 per night. Other sites are $39 per night.

More info about the National Seniors Card here

Our stay was 6-7th February 2019.
