Hello, I am thinking of purchasing your book, mostly for your reviews on the camp sites, how many camp sites do you list in the book? free? cost? etc. is it all that you used? or just the top 18 etc

    thank you

Hi Teresa. All our camp site videos are on our website, you can access them all for free. Use the Where to Stay button to search by type of places or destination to search by state. If you have a specific area you can try to search button 🙂
The book for sale has heaps of other information but our reviews, with videos, are all available Free. There’s about 186 I think so far, more to come soon.

I’m trying to find more information about the barra park at Howard Springs just out of darwin you show in our youtube video “120. ‘Barra Park’ Fishing and Conservation, Howard Springs Darwin” (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8DbNHwtgZdY)
There doesn’t seem to be any other website that has any knowledge of this site. Even wiki camps doesn’t know about it.
Would like to stay here but cannot locate it.
can you supply any more info (contact numbers, street address, owner’s email, etc)

Hello Steve. Thanks for the message. It’s on Wikicamps and is now called Barramundi Fishing Park. Names get changed around all the time which is frustrating but at least it’s still there 🙂
It’s at 175 Bow Hunters Rd Howard Springs. Ph number is 0407 790 350.
      Enjoy 🙂

      Hello David,
Thank you so much for purchasing your copy. It is automatically sent on payment but sometimes it ends up in the Junk Mail or spam filters block it. I have just forwarded a copy to your email address.
Thank you again, we really appreciate your support 🙂
      Safe travels.

Hello Wayne. Sorry we haven’t responded sooner, we have had little coverage while on Fraser and Moreton Islands 🙂

If you buy the Ultimate Guide I’d happily provide you the Calculator for Free.

      Thanks for the message.

    Hi Kevin, Adele & Matt.
Just purchased the Trip Budget Calculator and your site advises “The receipts are stored according to the month of the expense.” before I purchased.
I can only see a summary in the download and no pages allocated for daily/monthly entries at all.
    What am I missing please.
    Cheers

Hi Shane, sorry we have had very little coverage on Moreton Island and this is the first chance to check our messages here. Let me look into what you’re asking and I’ll come back to you shortly 🙂

I find a hair dryer does the trick for me with midges and sand flies.

Goodaye, well done on the article re speedometers. I have been speaking of this for some years and it is hard to get to all. I am a truckie and you spoke of contacting the truckie on UHF. Do you have a sign on the back of your motorhome, what channel do you show/monitor and what size are the letters? I started channel 18 as the vanners and now rvers channel years ago and am still trying to educate those with radios how to get the best out of them. Happy to chat on the phoine if you wish, but as you are being helpful and have some followers, thought it worth a hello to see if you are interested in another truckies view. Have you seen our shring rerst areas video, http://www.sharehteroad.net.au ? Cheers Rod.

Hello Rod. Thank you, I take a look at the link when I get the chance.
We just use Ch 40 when on the Highway as I often will chat to the trucks to let them know I see them and will help them pass safely. I’ve been on 18 and it’s rare there’s any discussion and to be honest that’s ok for me, enough going on anyway 🙂
      Thanks again.
