Caravan Parks

Discovery Boulder, Kalgoorlie WA

Discover Boulder

In Kalgoorlie, we chose to stay at the Discovery Boulder, Kalgoorlie for one night.

The park provided a pool which was essential for us on a day over 40 degrees. Whilst in Kalgoorlie we visited the Super Mine Pit, Hannans North Mine, looked around town and did the tour of Australia’s oldest brothel.

Discovery Boulder, Kalgoorlie is pet friendly and offers free Wifi.

Our cost was $45 less our 10% Discovery discount making it $40.50 for us 3 adults.

Watch the video for all the details.

Our stay was 10th December 2016

Pambula Bakery

The Pambula Bakery in town is fantastic. There were always a constant amount of customers without being over crowded which is always a good sign in a small town bakery.

Tathra Wharf

The Heritage listed Tathra Wharf was completed back in 1862 and still stands today. It is the only ‘open sea’ timber wharf left on the Australia’s East Coast.

The Wharf now hosts a Museum and Café and there’s great fishing there too. We saw Slimy Mackerel caught and squid would be prolific too.

The views around the Wharf are fantastic and there are walking trails nearby.
